Kiama and Shoalhaven Community College

Subsidised Course: The Foundations of Story Writing

The Foundations of Story Writing And then what happened? That just might be the most seductive question in English, followed closely by: Why?

Looking to start your creative writing journey? Follow your heroes across vast distances of time and space (in this case, online), whatever the genre, and pursue the answers to these questions!

In this course your trainer will guide you to discover your means of expression and will look at plot structure, characters, transformations, genres, settings, scenes and use of language.

Classes are held via a Zoom Classroom. We are here to help you access this.

All you need is internet connection.

Class prices have been discounted by the College to support everyone to keep learning in this challenging time.

This course is free* for Shoalhaven, Kiama, Shellharbour and Wollongong LGA residents over the age of 15 who are no longer in school, unemployed and currently seeking work.
