Learn how to demystify the process of producing clear and well-lit headshots. In this short session, you will learn how to compose and shoot headshots yourself using accessible low-tech equipment. With a focus on lighting, tone, background and composition, learn simple tips and techniques to produce professional quality photographs that will draw attention and enhance your natural features. Whether it be for applications, social media or self-promotion, you will be equipped to put your best face forward!This workshop will take place online. Detailed instructions for participation will be provided.

Latifa Elmrini is an emerging visual artist, spoken word poet and writer. She has exhibited at Bus Projects and Red Gallery and collaborated with Seventh Gallery and Schoolhouse Studios. Latifa was a creative producer at the Emerging Writer’s Festival in 2019 and is currently completing a Master of Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing at The University of Melbourne.
