Landmark writing festival celebrates 50 years of women’s voices

Creating a cultural change for women writers over the last 50 years, The Victorian Society of Women Writers are celebrating with a week-long festival.

Pivotal in amplifying women’s voices over the last 50 years, the Victorian Society of Women Writers will this year stage a four-day blockbuster festival: For the Love of Writing, to celebrate.

Taking place from 14-20 February 2020, the festival will feature 50 events and speakers including: Rosalie Ham (The Dressmaker), Miriam Margolyes, Hazel Edwards (There’s a Hippopotamus on My Roof Eating Cake) and author Pip Williams (The Dictionary of Lost Words).
