One of Australia’s most beloved children’s author and illustrator, Alison Lester, has won the coveted Melbourne Prize for Literature 2018 presented at a ceremony at Federation Square, Melbourne on 14 November.
Spanning a 30 year creative career, Lester was honoured with the prize for her outstanding contribution to Australian literature, cultural and intellectual life.
