The Chamber of Arts and Culture WA has welcomed the inclusion of some of its member organisations in the latest Writing Sector Review prepared by the Culture and Arts (WA) division of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
This final report, released in December 2017, examined the challenges, strengths, opportunities, potential strategies and future directions for the writing sector in Western Australia. It included seven key recommendations that will help bolster the sector by improving the employment and publishing activities of WA writers, among other initiatives.
