Winners announced at NSW Premier’s Literary Awards

Author Bruce Pascoe won Book of the Year at the NSW Premier’s 2016 Literary Awards last night, for his acclaimed non-fiction study of Aboriginal agriculture, Dark Emu, which also shared top honours in the inaugural Indigenous Writer’s Prize with Ellen Van Neerven’s Heat and Light

Richard Watts is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM, and serves as the Chair of La Mama Theatre's volunteer Committee of Management. Richard is a life member of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, and was awarded the status of Melbourne Fringe Living Legend in 2017.
