Dr Christy Dena has been awarded Australia’s first ever digital writing residency to explore robot ethics at Queensland University of Technology’s The Cube.

Writing residencies rarely rate as news, but few of them are digital writing residencies and fewer still involve high-end technology suites like The Cube, the world-leading, large scale, high-definition interactive display environment at QUT. The Australia Council for the Arts and QUT have funded Dr Christy Dena for six months starting in July to develop her Robot University project with programmer Adam Single and sound composer Jacek Tuschewski.
