The partnership between QUT and The Writing Platform will allow Asia-Pacific writers to engage in the global dialogue around experimentation and innovation in digital writing. Dr Donna Hancox is the initiative’s Australian Project Editor and is a senior lecturer in Creative Writing and Literary Studies at QUT. Her role at The Writing Platform will include commissioning Australian and Asia-Pacific writers to share their experiences with digital publishing.

The Writing Platform was established in 2012, as a resource for writers and poets at all stages of their careers. It provides advice on publishing and business practices, allowing emerging writers to make informed decisions about self-publishing and their engagement with the industry.
