The Melbourne Writers Festival launched its 2019 When We talk About Love program last night with even bolder events and Artistic Director Marieke Hardy drawing on Raymond Carver to appeal to the love in all of us. ‘The world is on fire,’ Hardy said at the launch, ‘… and our response is to love.’
