Although email dominates as our most common form of written communication, there’s still some magic about the way our thoughts materialise when we put pen to paper.
‘There’s something really interesting about letter writing that slows down the thought process, which encourages us to think a little bit more deeply about the way in which we communicate with another person,’ said Nanette Louchart-Fletcher, curator of Yours Faithfully, a new exhibition on the lost art of letter writing at the Museum of Australian Democracy (MOAD) at Old Parliament House.
