Looking for Summer Reading? Be a NPCW Award Entry Reader

Do you have experience in writing and publishing and would enjoy having a diverse reading list for the summer?

Nillumbik Prize for Contemporary Writing (NPCW) is seeking new readers to assist with shortlisting for its new national writing awards - NPCW Alan Marshall Short Story Award (2,500 word stories) and NPCW Creative Non-Fiction Award (5,000 words).

Readers are welcome to belong to one or both groups and can be based anywhere in Australia.

Readers will have from mid-December to the end of January to read and short-list entries for the Open (national), Local (Nillumbik based) and Youth (11-18year) categories for each award.

The Groups will meet (in person or via Skype) in February 2020 to collectively decide on the short list prior to them being provided to judges: Melanie Cheng, Claire G. Coleman, Sarah Schmidt and Jeff Sparrow.

Interested, contact Clare Leporati, Public and Participatory Arts Officer (9433 3126/clare.leporati@nillumbik.vic.gov.au) to learn more and get reading.
