Don Bank Writer in Residence

North Sydney Council offers writers the unique opportunity to work for 9 months at the historic Don Bank Museum, a heritage building in a garden setting located in North Sydney. The 2020 residency runs from March to December (an earlier start is negotiable) and offers a comfortable study, kitchen and bathroom.  Writers of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, plays, memoirs, songwriters and musical composers are invited to apply. 

As writer-in-residence you will be required to work on your writing project and contribute to Stanton Library’s public programs by leading three stimulating workshops or activities as well as a public presentation of your work at Don Bank Museum at the end of your residency.
