The Helen Anne Bell Poetry Bequest Award 2021

Entries are now open for the Helen Anne Bell Poetry Bequest Award for 2021. Australia’s richest poetry prize: $40,000 to celebrate Australian women poets.

The Department of English at the University of Sydney is pleased to invite entries for this award, made possible through a generous bequest to the University by former student Helen Anne Bell.

The award is open to Australian women poets over the age of 18, for an unpublished full-length poetry manuscript of 50-80 pages.

The winner will receive $40000 and publication of their manuscript with Vagabond Press.

2021 Judges: Pam Brown, Melinda Bufton and Kate Lilley.
