Applications are now open for State Library of Queensland’s research fellowships and awards totalling $70,000 as part of the Queensland Memory Awards.
Use State Library’s vast resources to uncover and share your stories. Researchers and creatives from all backgrounds and disciplines across Australia are encouraged to apply.
Fellowship recipients will receive a stipend (where applicable), a personal workspace within the Neil Roberts Research Lounge for 12 months and premium access to State Library’s extensive collections and library staff expertise.

The Queensland Memory Awards include:
Fellowships and residencies
- John Oxley Library Fellowship $20,000
- Queensland Business Leaders Hall of Fame Fellowship $15,000
- Mittelheuser Scholar in Residence $15,000
- Monica Clare Research Fellowship $15,000
- John Oxley Library Honorary Fellowship (no application required). No honorarium.
Awards
- 2021 John Oxley Library Award. Recognition only
- 2021 John Oxley Library Community History Award $5000 for groups and organisations
- 2021 Queensland Business History Award. Recognition only
