About the author

Jackie Wykes is a fat studies scholar and co-editor of _Queering Fat Embodiment_ (Ashgate, 2014), along with with Dr Sam Murray and Dr Cat Pause.   Dr Andrea Waling works on the ARC masculinity project. She is an affiliate​ of the School of Social Sciences at Monash University and recently completed her PhD investigating representations of masculinity in contemporary Australian media​.
