Shortlist announced for 2016 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards

Twenty one titles, including poetry, fiction, drama and writing for young adults, are in the running for Australia’s single richest literary prize.

A potent drama about three utterly damaged young women, a science-fiction/fantasy that follows the story of a family from 2016 to 2057, and the tale of an Aboriginal girl taken from her family in Northern Australia, are among the 21 titles shortlisted for the 2016 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards.
