New Book Council sparks literary concerns

Eight months after the announcement of the Book Council of Australia the sector is speaking out about its concerns.

Publishers, writers’ centres, literary magazines and festivals have put out a joint statement calling for consultation on the future Book Council.

The ​39 signatories are concerned about the lack of consultation and collaboration to date.
