Art has the ability to brighten our days, but is making and engaging with the arts an essential ingredient to live a fulfilling life? A report by the Australia Council for the Arts, Daily Life: Australian Participation in the Arts found that on the whole, Australians believe that the arts can have a big impact on our quality of life, in particular the development of children, and the abilities to express ourselves, think creatively, and deal with stress, anxiety and depression.
