Described as a bookshop, café, bar and performance venue, Hares & Hyenas is Melbourne’s ‘one-stop shop’ for queer reading, culture, community and entertainment.

Co-founder Crusader Hillis told ArtsHub, ‘We’ve always been a community hub because particularly in the early days, there was nowhere else in Melbourne where people could get free information about what is going on in the queer world’.
