As the National Writers Congress in Sydney last week, I joined Shadow Arts Minister Mark Dreyfus, Greens arts spokesperson Adam Bandt MP and Australian Society of Authors Chairperson David Day to talk about building an industry that supports authors and authorship in a time of change.

We talk about a publishing industry that’s still reeling from the advent of the internet and new technologies, but the world wide web is 25 years old. The world isn’t changing. It’s changed. And we’ve changed with it.
