With a crowded fair, symposiums and workshop events, the Melbourne Art Book Fair recently offered a glimpse of what is happening in the world of art and photographic publishing – and it’s as innovative as ever.

As Max Schumann, Associate Director of New York’s Printed Matter, explained last year: ‘If you figure that contemporary art can be just about anything, then so can an artist’s book.’
