Crossing the print /digital divide

Video didn't kill the radio star and digital hasn't killed print. But they are still learning to get along.

The death of print, like that of Mark Twain, has been greatly exaggerated. Printed book sales are holding steady and new magazines continue to launch, pointing to the continuing importance of print in our lives.

But the existence of digital has changed the way we use print, as each platform carves out its own niche.
