About your tutor:
Tracey Hawkins is an award-winning author of children’s picture books. Tracey also writes novels, non-fiction and adult non-fiction works. She has lived in the Australian Capital Territory since 1983, where she has worked as a Policewoman with the Australian Federal Police Force and raised a family. Tracey has worked as a crime-writing advisor, columnist and consultant, and has been actively presenting to schools, hosting writing workshops and participating as a guest author at writing festivals for many years. 
Tracey has achieved great success in Australia and overseas with her picture books. In 2012 ‘Max Meets a Monster’ was chosen for Story time on the BBC Australia CBeebies Children’s Television program. Tracey is a May Gibbs Literature Trust Fellow and Coordinator of SCBWI ACT.
