    ABOUT THE TUTOR: MADELINE JOANNOU

Madeline Joannou loves all things audio and has a particular passion for radio. She has been working as an Audio Producer for the last 10 years in commercial radio, diving in the deep end by starting her career on 2Day FM's Kyle & Jackie O Show producing all of their in-show audio content and promos. She then moved onto various production roles at Vega 95.3 (when it was a brand new station) Nova 96.9, Mix 1065 and 101.7 WSFM among others. Madeline currently works at the ABC as part of the ABC MADE team primarily focusing on 702 ABC Sydney as their Radio Promotions Producer. In this role Madeline works across all of the station's programs producing their promos and also working across other ABC radio brands when required such as News Radio, Radio National, and Classic FM to do the same.

Madeline was involved in the re-brand launch and creation of Sydney's KIIS 1065 in 2014. She was one of two Audio Producers chosen for this highly confidential project involving the creation of the stations custom sound design in line with the KIIS 1065 marketing strategy, brand name, positioning statement, music format and breakfast show. At the time she was also the Audio Producer for the drive show on Mix/KIIS which was Rosso on Drive and worked closely with them and the team to create captivating comedy sketches, song parodies and daily podcasts to keep the listeners entertained and coming back each day for more.

Madeline also works for the internationally renowned U.S production company ReelWorld as one of their Audio Producers, creating custom sound design for their Production Vault libraries across several radio formats.
